So here it goes! 6 things to consider before buying your car!
1- Buying used cars can be very tricky, yes it is cheaper, but you also want to get your piece of mind! In order to do so, you might want to ask about the "Extended Service Contract" which covers you for 5 years or 100 thousands miles from the day of the purchase! How cool is this! and you can even add all sort of stuff to it, such as Key replacement, Emergency Roadside, Dent & Ding & Windshield Repair!
2- Mileage! Yes you are buying a used car, but keep in mind, Low Mileage cars with excellent condition are rarely found, and they worth much more than a high Mileage used car! specially if you are going towards that S Class you have been looking for! keep in Mind, Mileage Vs year of Make tells you a lot about a car!
3- Car Fax!! Or Should i say Car FOX! yes it is a very important process when buying a Pre_Owned car, the fox is keeping a very close eye on your car, make sure you see it before you do anything! It is your safety file. make sure that the car Fax is clean!
4- The Car Maintenance history fact sheet! yes Car Fax can be enough, but you are still buying a pre_Owned car! ask for you the maintenance report, check if oil is changed, or the car has been checked before you take it to the highway... Safety again!
5- What type of Car are you buying? newly married can look cool in a coupe, but family of 6? serious? when you buy a car, make sure you count how many people will be riding this car with you, or at least, if you really want this coupe, make it a secondary car! Or if you are that type of person who moves a lot, or tow stuff, make sure you get the real deal truck! again, look at your lifestyle and fit in the car and not the other way around!
6- Fuel Type! Yes, this is a very important thing to ask about, because we all now that Diesel Trucks, Turbo Trucks, Power trucks, are much more reliable and gas efficient than gasoline! they just last longer, they are more durable and they are so cost efficient.
7- Financing your car! It makes it so much easier for everyone if you are Pre-approved, but if you are not, it makes a lot of difference when you deal with an experienced dealership who deals with most of the national Banks, and many of the credit Unions! Also with dealerships who can handle Prime or Sub-prime credit!
At the end, Buying a car should be a pleasant experience, starting of choosing your next car up to driving it home!
